The Alocasia Black Velvet Gold Aurea (a variegated cultivar of Alocasia reginula) is a highly coveted, rare collector's houseplant known for its striking visual contrast. It features the iconic deep, velvety, near-black foliage of the standard Black Velvet, but it is dramatically elevated by luminous golden-yellow (aurea) marbling, splotches, or half-moon variegation. Because the variegation is so unique, each new leaf emerges with a completely unique pattern
Note: These ladies are highly variegated and finicky to ship. There's a 99% chance your tissue culture will arrive with yellow leaves. Growth points are all intact, just snip the donor leaves and start fresh. But DO NOTE, they may look a little poopy upon arrival but your actual plant is just fine!
